MIM (Media Influence Map) is an open-graph collective registry dedicated to mapping the creative relationships and traceable heritages between the works that shape our culture.
Books inspire films. Games transform genres. Artists influence generations. New ideas emerge from existing nodes—sometimes by building upon their elements, sometimes through an explicit structural reaction against them.
Culture is not a collection of isolated works. It is an open network of lineage. MIM exists to bring that transparent tracking framework to light.

Most platforms answer “What is popular?” MIM asks a deeper question: “What is connected, and why?” Popularity tells us what reached an audience at a singular moment, but influence traces how core creative DNA travels through history.

Standard top-100 lists reduce creativity to a strict competition. Instead of declaring what is arbitrarily the “best” work, MIM focuses entirely on verifying structural lineages and historical connections.
