Writing on the site looks like writing, and the map stays where you put it.
- Improved
Description and evidence fields show the formatting itself as you type, rather than the marks around it. They are taller, and the buttons work on whatever you have selected.
- Fixed
Bold and italic now show wherever that text is read, a connection’s evidence included. Double-clicking a word selects the space after it, and that space was landing inside the formatting marks, which left the marks visible to everyone.
- Fixed
The bullet list button did nothing visible. It was making a list all along, drawn without its bullets or its indent.
- Fixed
Editing a connection from the map updates the panel straight away, instead of needing a refresh that lost whatever you had selected. Comments appear as soon as you post them, and the thread catches up when you come back to the tab.
- Fixed
The map keeps its arrangement when you change a filter. An approved work now appears next to what it connects to instead of at the far edge, and the authors view opens spread out and framed rather than as a pile of names.
- Fixed
On the timeline, dragging a work only moves it sideways. It could be pulled off its own year, which is the one thing that view is for.
- Fixed
A patch in the bottom-left of the map quietly swallowed clicks and drags.
- Fixed
Adding a work no longer offers it to a series it has nothing to do with. "The Black Swan" was being proposed as part of "The Chronicles of the Black Company" on the strength of one shared word. The authors have to agree before a partial title match counts.
- Fixed
Grouping a work into a series carries its Goodreads, IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes links over, as it already did for Open Library.
- Improved
My library opens faster, and the How-to guide now covers it.
