Harry Potter influenced Harry Potter

The eight Warner films of Rowling's seven novels, 2001 to 2011. Series to series, with the volumes named here rather than split into their own connections (principle 13). The census found this pair twice, once through Philosopher's Stone and once through Chamber of Secrets, and they are one relationship. Worth recording about the shape of it:

• Columbus's first two are close to transcription; Cuaron's Prisoner of Azkaban is the break, and every later film follows his lead rather than Columbus's
• Deathly Hallows is split in two, which is where the modern habit of splitting a final volume comes from
• Peeves, Ludo Bagman and the whole house-elf liberation subplot never appear
