Fantastic Mr Fox influenced Fantastic Mr. Fox

Wes Anderson's stop-motion film adapts Roald Dahl's novel, keeping Mr Fox's raids on the three farmers Boggis, Bunce and Bean, their siege of his hole and the tunnelling escape that ends in a feast underground. Anderson expanded the short book with Mr Fox's past as a thief, his son Ash and the nephew Kristofferson, and recorded the voices on location at a farm rather than in a studio.
