The evidence
Bong Joon-ho's film adapts the French comic by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette, in which the last survivors of a frozen Earth live on an endlessly circling train divided by class, with the poor in the tail. The film follows a revolt moving forward carriage by carriage towards the engine.
