The Vampire Chronicles

Anne Rice wrote the screenplay herself, from the first novel of her own sequence. She objected publicly to the casting of Lestat and then reversed herself in a paid advertisement after seeing the film, which is an unusually well documented case of an author's involvement.

Adapted from the third Vampire Chronicles novel with material from the second compressed into it, which is why Anne Rice disowned it publicly and at length. Recorded here because the map should show what was made from a source, not only what the author approved of.
