InfluenceLOW

Widely observed, never acknowledged, and filed LOW for exactly that reason. The parallels are specific: a device that lets one person enter another's dream, a corridor that becomes the wrong way up, a mirror opened as a door between states, and a character falling to wake. Against it: Nolan has said he wrote Inception over roughly ten years and has named architecture, heist films and his own Following as sources, not Kon. Satoshi Kon died in 2010 and made no claim.

About the work

パプリカ (Paprika)

It is based on the 1993 novel by Yasutaka Tsutsui. The Japanese voice cast stars Megumi Hayashibara, Tōru Emori, Katsunosuke Hori, Tōru Furuya, Akio Otsuka, Koichi Yamadera, and Hideyuki Tanaka. The film follows a battle between an unknown "dream terrorist" who causes nightmares by stealing a device that allows others to share their dreams, the research psychologist Dr. Atsuko Chiba, and a personality named Paprika—a dream detective who shares Atsuko's mind.
