A woman in her sixties, raising a sullen grandson and starting to lose words to Alzheimer's, enrols in a poetry class at the local cultural centre. While she hunts for the one poem she has been asked to write, she learns what her grandson did to a schoolgirl who has since drowned herself, and has to decide what she owes the dead girl's mother. It won best screenplay at Cannes and brought Yoon Jeong-hee back to the screen after sixteen years away.
