Paul Feig's 2022 Netflix film adapts the first of Soman Chainani's novels, credited on screen, with Chainani as an executive producer. It covers book one only: Sophie and Agatha taken from Gavaldon and sorted into the wrong schools. The sequels the film sets up are books two and three.
