About the work

채식주의자 (The Vegetarian)

A woman stops eating meat after a dream and will not explain herself. Her refusal travels outward through a husband, a brother-in-law and a sister, each of whom tries to make her legible; the story is told in three parts and never from her side. It won the International Booker Prize.
