易經 (I Ching) influenced The Man in the High Castle

The I Ching is used inside the novel. Several characters, Tagomi, Frank Frink and Juliana among them, consult the oracle to decide what to do, and the hexagrams they cast are quoted. Hawthorne Abendsen, the author of the novel-within-the-novel, turns out to have written it with the oracle's help, and the book ends on the hexagram Inner Truth. Dick said in interviews that he consulted the I Ching himself while writing it.
